High School Chemistry Teachers Safety Qualification (FL)

This professional development course is designed to help Florida high school chemistry educators improve their safety knowledge and skills in the chemistry laboratory. It covers topics such as chemical hazards, risk assessment, safety equipment, emergency procedures, and legal and ethical responsibilities. It also provides participants with hands-on activities, demonstrations, and resources to implement safety best practices in their own classrooms. It is based on the standards and guidelines from OSHA, NSTA, and the American Chemical Society Division of Chemical Health and Safety.
